Fleetwood, Pennsylvania was founded in 1873. Over the years, many organizations and individuals contributed to make the town the special place it is. FLEETWOOD'S FINEST is a new tradition that honors organizations and individuals who have made a lasting impression on Fleetwood. The first FLEETWOOD'S FINEST SPRING GALA was held on March 8, 2025. THE FLEETWOOD CADILLAC AWARD for extraordinary community service was awarded to the FLEETWOOD VOLUNTEER FIRE CO. THE FLEETWOOD HOMETOWN HERO AWARD was awarded to Barney Dietrich, Ernie Fink and R. Joel Schaeffer for building the Little League Field in 1965 with the Fleetwood Jaycees. See the tribute videos below from the 2025 FLEETWOOD'S FINEST SPRING GALA.
The 2027 FLEETWOOD FINEST SPRING GALA will be held on April 3, 2027 at the Fleetwood Fire Co. Social Quarters Banquet Hall. Honorees and tickets go on sale SEPTEMBER 16, 2026.
